Description & History

The blue line is normally operated in a counter-clockwise direction making the Blue yard for departures and the Purple for arrivals. Both staging yards have two dowel pins that position and align the modules with Holy Wholly Holey. There are also two folding legs that extend to keep the yard from sagging when someone inadvertently leans on it. A 1" high lip surrounds the module surface to keep rolling stock from falling off. The five track yard holds about one scale mile of cars.

The yards are connected to blue line power with C-J connectors that plug into recepticals on H3. An insulated connector track isolates each yard from the host module, allowing a toggle switch to turns power on and off to that yard.
